For nine days in October, Cape Breton Island is home to a unique celebration of music and culture as the Celtic Colours International Festival presents dozens of concerts, workshops, exibitions and festivals all over the island.

Festival of CB Fiddling

This unique festival spotlights the Cape Breton fiddle along with the associated performers such as piano and guitar players, pipers, dancers and singers.

Action Week

A nine day long community summer festival featuring gigantic kick-off concert, boardwalk busker festival, sports tournaments, night light parade, cultural and historical programs, children's festival, waterfront concerts, fireworks display and much more.

CB Screaming Eagles

The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles are members of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Louisbourg Crab Festival

What a better way to end the summer and celebrate the delicious landings of the local crab fishermen at the same time. Since 1993, the Louisbourg Crab Festival has grown to a Maritime-renown celebration.

Festival de l'Escaouette

Le Festival de l'Escaouette is the only Acadian festival in Inverness County. It is a celebration of Acadian culture and traditions in the Acadian region of Chéticamp. It will take place July 1 ~ August 22, 2012.
